It’s Air Max Day so guess what! That’s the only thing we’re talking about today! Today we gather around, lace up our flyest pair of Air Max’s, and pay respect to the genius mind of Tink, the man that changed the sneaker world in 1987. It’s only right I start this off correctly. Let’s get into it.
Nike Air Max Motif
If we’re going to talk about any air max releases this month, these go first. Simply because, well…look at them. They’re a beauty! That OG Sport Blue is so vibrant. The transparency on the swoosh is a slick detail I’m loving. Even the sole on this pair is fire. They don’t take away from the shoe. They amplify the beauty and it’s a nice contrast from the sport blue on the front mudguard. The mixture of materials on these also amplifies the beauty of that blue. You’re getting a mix of suede, mesh, and canvas. I look at these and automatically go “UFF!” These kicks are also currently available in a Photon Dust colorway.

Nike Air Max 1 “Premium”
If you’re looking for a more natural colorway this spring, take a look at these Air Max’s. The illusion of the midsole being cracked is cute. If I saw someone with some cracked ass kicks, I’d be like “who’s man’s in this?” but they work with this pair and the aesthetic. The red stitching on the side amplifies that chopped and screwed, reworked vibe these are giving. The colorway alone is giving fall and the light pink is giving a small taste of spring. Again, the mix of textures on here is *chef’s kiss* truly fucking beautiful. You’ve got the smiley face swoosh in the back and it’s the cutest little treat about these. The real fun part about these is, they come with four interchangeable labels for the tongue. Unfortunately, Nike is only releasing these in Asia-Pacific and Latin America. (That’s some trash ass shit) But with technology nowadays, I know that shit ain’t stopping no one.

Nike Air Max 1 “La Ville-Lumière”
These might be the calmest pair to drop this weekend. These are super clean compared to the rest of the kicks on this list. The mixture of off-white’s shows exactly how less can be more in some cases & this is one of them. The holographic material is a delicate touch that makes these pop when the sun hits them. These pair of Air Max’s come with a cute charm cause even your kicks need some extra shine sometimes. Unfortunately, Nike is doing that shit they do & only exclusively dropping these in Europe. Use technology and finesse!

Nike Air Max 1 “Blueprint”
If I’m going to start this list with some heat, it’s only right I finish it with heat that matches it or surpasses it. So of course, it’s going to be a fly pair of Air Max 1’s. These take the blueprint aesthetic literally. It’s displayed in the details added. A grid-like design is included in the swoosh, both the outer and inner swoosh. The same grid-like design is also seen on the tongue. The blue colorway is smooth af. Details have been a major move with this year’s air max releases and the cutest detail on this pair is found on the back heel. The classic Nike Air sits above a debossed planet Earth. Now, these will be dropping in North America.
