YUNGBLUD’s Artistic Journey
Born in Yorkshire, England, YUNGBLUD began his musical journey at age two and started writing songs by ten. His debut EP and album, 21st Century Liability, propelled him to fame, followed by the top 10 UK album Hope for the Underrated Youth. Additionally, his 2020 album weird! was a UK No. 1 hit, featuring tracks like “God Save Me, but Don’t Drown Me Out” and “Mars.”
Like many artists in today’s era where being multihyphenate is almost a requirement for consideration in the arts such as Tyler, The Creator creating his own music festival, YUNGBLUD follows the path creating his own festival: BLUDFEST. Unlike most festival’s where prices of festival tickets is almost the same price as going on an oversees vacation, BLUDFEST was a festival created in aims to provide affordable access to live music, with tickets priced at £49.50 and a free ticket ballot option for those in need. In addition, the festival is a genre-diverse music festival set to take place on August 11, 2024, at Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK. Visit BLUDFEST for more information.
