Drake has opened up on his plans to take his first steps towards retirement and making a “graceful” exit from the music industry.
The 6 God recently sat down for an interview with Lil Yachty where he teased about having this retirement on his mind.
“I think I’m at the point now where I just wanna like — I feel like maybe we talked about this the other day. I feel like I’m kinda introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit,” he said in the first clip from their interview shared on Thursday, February 23.
Earlier in his career, Drake said he wanted to retire by 35, however, that age came and went with him turning 37 later this year.
Drake has been reluctant in recent years to speak on the idea of walking away from music, so it is surprising to fans to hear him embrace the retirement talk.
