Rihanna recently come out of hiatus with her first performance in seven years at the 2023 Super Bowl, and will now be returning to the stage again for the 95th Academy Awards.
The singer will perform her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack when the 2023 ceremony goes live on March 12.
The song- created by Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, and Ludwig Goransson- stands as Rihanna’s first Oscar nomination with its nod for Best Original Song.
Rih will be making history with this performance, being the first Black woman to perform at the Oscars while pregnant.
