NASA Uploads 1.8 Billion Pixel Photo of the Mars Surface

The NASA Curiosity rover on mars has taken a series of high resolution images, dating from November 24th to December 1st of last year. NASA stitched together the 1,000 separate images into one 1.8 billion pixel Panorama. NASA released the image to be interactive, allowing the viewer to navigate the Martian Landscape and zoom in to detailed views never quite seen like this before.
