Landmark Exhibit Returns: Celebrating Iconic Hip Hop Landmarks and Culture at THC NYC with a Star-Studded Lineup

New York, NY – January 2024 – Opening January 24th, at THC NYC, a lineup of celebrated artists brings the background into foreground, once again, paying homage to some of New York’s most iconic Hip Hop landmarks. The inspired and culturally rich show, Landmark, curated by Kate Storch, is returning for its third Exhibit.

Artists in the show include Legendary photographer Joe Conzo, Danny Cortes, Peter Paid, BlusterOne©, Shiro, André LeRoy Davis, TTK, and Jerms (DJJS1). Legendary performers Pharoahe Monch & El De Sensei of the Artifacts will be trading their usual stage for a gallery setting to complete the all-star lineup.

The show plays with the idea of landmarks as locations, but also a pivotal moment. Artists in the lineup have created works, adding their own artistic voice and style to celebrate and memorialize the influential locations that provided a place where Hip Hop Culture and Artists emerged and thrived, helping to lay the foundation for the global force Hip Hop is today.

Opening Night is brought to you by Gotham and will feature music by legends Grand Wizzard Theodore, Large Professor, and DJ Eclipse, along with a special performance from Pharoahe Monch. The month-long exhibit runs from January 24th through February 24th and will include Record Fair weekends, a special Breaking battle put on by BGirl City, and the latest installment of the Homage Awards, honoring Ralph McDaniels of Video Music Box. Be prepared for a few surprise appearances and an unforgettable experience.
