Hot End of February Sneaker Drops

The shortest month of the year is about to end but leave it to us to have you finish the month in style. Especially since we just had NYFW and hardly noticed because of the weather. Hopefully, these kicks take your regular degular outfits to the next level.

Of course, I had to start this with the only collab that mattered this month. Bape and Vans got together again for the second time and understood the assignment. The high-tops include the iconic Bape camo in a show-stopping mismatched/color blocking style. The low tops take a calmer approach with olive green and green Bape camo on the sides. These will be available on February 26th online and in select Vans and BAPE retail locations.

Nike is known for going tf OFF with their Chinese New Year drops. 2022 is the year of the tiger which is the theme for these Blazer Mids. The bright red swoosh paired with the red upper laces is the perfect combination to make these kicks pop. The light pastel color blocking also helps the red pop perfectly. You can’t forget about the jade! The jade stones on the back are the perfect addition to add peace and harmony to these kicks (and your life!).

Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air Force 1 LXX Zip

Whenever Serena Williams decides to retire from being the best and most badass tennis player ever, she might have a bright future designing sneakers. The swoosh is done subtly beautifully yet boldly in a white raised embroidery. Now let’s get into my favorite part, the gold zipper that would make anybody with a get-up-and-go lifestyle happy af. If you’re wondering if theirs laces underneath the zipper, the answer is no. Nothing about this pair is overcomplicated. Everything about these kicks screams elegance and simplicity to its highest level.

Nike keeps killing it again and again with these two-tone drops. This time it’s in a 49er’s colorway. The gold-orange compliments the deep red while the red assist in making the orange pop. This is a team effort, and you can never go wrong with some low-top dunks.

Nike Dunk High “Light Chocolate”

Now that we’ve got the low tops out of the way. Allow me to present to you the most delicious drops of the month. I’ve had my eye on these all month, just because they remind me of a chocolate milkshake. I think of these as I make my light and sweet cup of coffee every morning. Nike knows how to mix textures well and it shows. The darker shade of brown being suede and the lighter being leather is just a beautiful combination made in heaven. The amount of brown on these kicks forces the two hits of forest green (on the tongue and back) to pop.

Nike Dunk High 1965 “Yellow Acid Wash” and Nike Dunk High “Acid Wash”

Okay, so I got the fire kicks out the way first because BOY! Whoever keeps pitching these acid wash sneaker design ideas at Nike needs to be stopped. I somewhat wanted to get the ooze out to flame these, but I heard a voice that said “no! stahp! You gonna kill em!” I’m ignoring that voice right now. I don’t even know where to start. But Nike, please stop. Someone had to lock these up in 1965 and throw away the key. Forget they even exist. Throw away the sketch and burn all evidence. These ain’t it chief and I’ll leave it at that. If I ever hear someone say, “WHAT ARE THOOSEEEE!?” I won’t have to turn around to know they’re talking about these kicks. I’ll just be able to sense it. PA LA BASURA VAN! If my mom threw these in the tank to send to DR, I wouldn’t even be mad. I’d get it and agree with her and thank her for doing me a favor. Okay, now I’m done.
