The Compton rapper tweeted this out only minutes after the New Year began. Maybe he wanted to start the new year off on a positive note.
We can’t help but wonder, could YG’s apology spawn from truly wanting to be the best version of himself, or was something else perhaps the cause of his new lease on life?
Two weeks prior, YG also tweeted a line from the infamous track him and the legendary Nipsey Hussle did, “FDT (Fuck Donald Trump)” Is the rapper turning over a new, more politically charged leaf for 2020?
Fans and critics alike showed their support for YG’s newest political updates. Either way, this shows a shift away from the homophobic ideologies that are so prevalent in the rap and hip-hop communities.
Now, we can’t help but wonder what else YG will bring forward for the rest of 2020.
