YG Turns Over A New Leaf, Apologizes for Homophobic Remarks

YG must have taken the phrase “New year, new me” a little too literally this New Year. The rapper tweeted out the following:

it’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life was ignorant. i apologize to the LGBTQ kommunity for ever komin across like i was anything but respectful and accepting.

The Compton rapper tweeted this out only minutes after the New Year began. Maybe he wanted to start the new year off on a positive note.

We can’t help but wonder, could YG’s apology spawn from truly wanting to be the best version of himself, or was something else perhaps the cause of his new lease on life?

Two weeks prior, YG also tweeted a line from the infamous track him and the legendary Nipsey Hussle did, “FDT (Fuck Donald Trump)” Is the rapper turning over a new, more politically charged leaf for 2020?
