50 Cent’s hit Starz series Black Mafia Family is going to bring in two Grammy winners to the cast next season.
Reports show that 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo have joined Season 3 of the 50 Cent-produced crime drama. BMF’s Season 2 premiere recently aired in January, so production for the shows third installment is still not known.
2 Chainz is said to be an Atlanta-born hustler described by the network as “fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost.”
Ne-Yo is going to play Rodney Green, who’s “filled with swagger and an entrepreneurial spirit, [and] there’s more than meets the eye to Greeny.” On Tuesday, 50 Cent took to social media to celebrate the casting, tweeting that “we making big moves for Season 3” and “got @2chainz locked in.”
50 Cent also teased three BMF spinoffs during the Season 2 premiere. “You’ll get a chance to see three spinoff shows from ‘BMF.’ It’s ‘BMF’ immortal,” 50 cents said.
