On Wednesday Eminem surprised customers by serving pasta at his new restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti in downtown Detroit.
The name of the restaurant comes from the line in his song “Lose Yourself”:
His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy / There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti
He was recognized by fans as he handed out spaghetti, meatballs, and other food on the menu, which is simple. You can get Mom’s Spaghetti for $9, Mom’s Spaghetti with Meatballs for $12 and a ‘Sgetti Sandwich (spaghetti on bread) for $11.
It’s been a long time coming ever since Em experimented with the eatery as a pop-up restaurant in 2017.
