Landmark Festival: Where NYC’s Art and Music Scene Came Alive, Rain or Shine

This past weekend, the Landmark festival, curated by Kate Storch, was everything you’d expect from a celebration of New York City’s creative soul—full of energy, community, and unforgettable moments.

The festival kicked off on August 2nd at CLLCTV NYC, tucked away at 209 E. 3rd Street. From 3 PM to 9 PM, the place was packed, and I mean packed. The rain? Just a side note—nobody let it ruin the mood. The vendors were on point, with stands like HypeKills, Ying and Kang, Maxwell Snacks, Crooklyn Cannabis, Falsehood, and STR8 GAS drawing in the crowd. The space was bursting at the seams, and the buzz was real.

Inside, the walls weren’t just walls—they were a canvas for some of the city’s most respected artists. Peter Paid, Danny Cortez, Shiro, Joe Conzo, Meres, BlusterOne, Andre LeRoy Davis, and DJJS1 (Jerms) all brought their A-game, turning the venue into an art lover’s dream.

And the music? Pure fire. The legendary Large Professor was there, alongside DJ Evil Dee, DJ Eclipse, DJJS1, Peter Paid, Eitan Noyze, Quinette, and DJ Late For Dinner, keeping everyone moving, rain or shine.

Day 2 on August 3rd switched things up but kept the creative energy flowing. At FSG First Street Green on 33 E. 1st Street, from 1 PM to 10 PM, artists like Andre Trenier, Stash, Shiro, Topaz, and more took to the walls for some live mural painting. Watching these artists in action, transforming blank walls into colorful masterpieces, was something special.

The breaking cypher, presented by One Society and MZK Worldwide, brought even more heat to the day. Dancers threw down in a display of skill and style that had everyone hyped. And just as the day wrapped up, the skies opened up with a downpour—right on cue, as if the weather was in sync with the vibe.

But the party didn’t end there. The afterparty at Bronx Brewery in the East Village (64 2nd Ave) was the perfect cherry on top. Great drinks, top-notch tunes, and a chance to snag some limited-edition merch and prints? Yes, please. The DJs kept the energy going, making sure everyone ended the night on a high note.
