Do you feel that breeze? That’s the weather getting warmer. It’s almost spring, baby! And the month is blossoming with sneaker releases. Let’s get into it.
Nike Dunk Low “Paisley Pack”
Of course, the green colorway of Nike’s “Paisley Pack” is dropping this month. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. We’ve seen these dunks in both a spring-ready light blue and black last year. With the forest green surrounding the forefoot, along with the tongue, and across the heel, along with the paisley print Swoosh and heel tab, this silhouette rises to the top this spring. These are on my need list.

SNS x Adidas SNS GT “NYC”
Adidas and SNS have joined forces to show love to the neighborhood they reside in NYC, the Meatpacking District. The combination of browns is inspired by the brown bricks that fill the area and well…beef (I know a whole bunch of yous JUST went either AYO or “pause” right now, RELAX!) The insole has a dope hidden detail at first glance. It includes a map of the lower region of Manhattan. Looks like Adidas had one more fall colorway in the chamber.

Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 “Heavy”
Boston-based brand Concepts and Nike joined forces to give us a pair of Air Max’s you didn’t know you wanted, until now. The mixture of prints and patterns that cover these kicks are bound to catch everyone’s and anyone’s eyes once you step in the room. Inspired by music festivals in the 1960s, these are set to be released right around the time we’re about to be released back into the festival world after covid. These kicks are interesting (in the best way possible) from every angle. You’ve got a camo pattern wrapping the sneaker from the tip to the heel. Then you got this wavy acid wash denim situation that is highly appreciated because it makes the patterns and prints inside the swoosh pop, and considering all that’s going on at once here, that says a lot. On the back heel, you have the perfect pop of orange in a paisley print to tie the whole shoe together, and you already know the insole isn’t regular degular.

Oskar Rozenberg x Nike SB Dunk High “Great White Shark”
According to Google, the chances of being attacked and killed by a shark are 1 in 3.75 million. So, the fact that Rozenburg and Nike joined forces again and came out with some heat and killed it for the 2nd time is wild. These white sneakers might look plain at first glance but don’t get it twisted. Details are what matter here. The iconic swoosh gets a makeover and turns into a shark. The red stitching on the midsole compliments the great white shark theme and helps the red stitching on the shark swoosh pop.
