Gap and The Brooklyn Circus (BKc) have partnered to release a capsule collection that expresses culture and individuality while embodying both brands’ iconic styles and philosophies. Launching today, January 31st, the collection is dedicated to the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who was a longtime supporter of The Brooklyn Circus.
BKc was Founded by Ouigi Theodore and it is a Haitian-owned menswear label. Partnering with Gap, the two brands have created an apparel capsule consisting of iconic silhouettes from varsity jackets to denim and more.
The collection is presented in a highly stylized campaign shot by John Midgley, which starred a powerful lineup including Ouigi Theodore, Indya Moore, Walton, Emily May Jampel, and Yahdon Israel, to name a few.
“tWitch was a friend, a client, a collaborator, and a big advocate of The Brooklyn Circus,” Theodore said. “His energy on set, his energy in real life — it just hurts to know that he’s not around to see this campaign rollout. He sent me a text 10 days before his passing and a month after shooting the campaign. It was just praise on what we do as a brand and just the way he felt about being on set and on this project.”
In honor of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Gap will support The 988 Lifeline with donations to the Vibrant Emotional Health organization.
The collection is available to shop on Gap’s official website and The Brooklyn Circus’ online shop.
