Lil Wayne is heading on tour. Rolling Loud and Live Nation will be presenting The Welcome To Tha Carter Tour alongside the rapper’s own company Young Money Entertainment.
The tour will be hitting 28 cities, the tour starts at The Fillmore in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 4.
Later, Wayne will hit major cities including Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, and Dallas. The Welcome To Tha Carter Tour will wrap up at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern on May 13.
The news of the tour arrives ahead of The Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective pre-GRAMMY event. Wayne will be honored with the Global Impact Award for his contributions to music.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, February 3 at 10 a.m. EST.
