Other than the album title and release date, everything about Fuerza Regida’s new album: Pero No Te Enamores (but don’t fall in love) is underwraps – no singles or music videos until after the album drops. I can tell you that the new album expands their sound, taking their hybrid of traditional Mexican music and modern genres to new heights. Fuerza Regida frontman, Jesus Ortiz Paz (JOP), wants fans to listen to the album in full to experience this new sound they’ve been developing.

With the thematic veracity of contemporary trap and the vintage inspiration of 1950s mariachi groups like Las Adelitas, lead singer Jesus Ortiz Paz (JOP) tends to focus his attention on those who toil amid the hustle. Or as the LA Times wrote, Fuerza Regida embodies the idea that if you work hard enough, you can achieve your version of the American Dream.”
