With the school season back again, Flamin’ Hot® has partnered with Megan Thee Stallion to create Flamin’ Hot University, bringing “snackable” virtual courses on fashion, food, and lifestyle to everyone.
Flamin’ Hot University, otherwise known as F.U., is very easily accessible as anyone is welcome to sign up and take the online classes. F.U. simply has a policy of each student being their entire selves unapologetically. Each class is comprised to be short and “snackable” to keep students’ attention while also allowing them to show their creativity and personalities.
The classes offered at F.U. were put together with the help of rap queen Megan Thee Stallion. As a Texas Southern University alumni, Megan Thee Stallion has shared much of her journey to get her degree with her fans with the intentions of inspiring them and letting them know that they can do it too. As a strong champion for academia, Megan Thee Stallion was the right choice to fill the role of Thee Hot Girl Dean of Admissions for Flamin’ Hot University.
Flamin’ Hot University will offer courses under three main areas of study: recipe content, styling tips, and lifestyle crash courses. F.U. has collaborated with other professionals to create and run some of these courses, including Texas Southern University alumni, Chef Scotty for the recipe content classes.
On top of the virtual classes being offered, F.U. students will also have access to an exclusive Flamin’ Hot University merchandise collection, designed by Melody Ehsani. The collection includes 6 different pieces, the most notable being the Stallion Varsity Jacket and the Hot Girl Club Sweater. Alongside the apparel, Megan Thee Stallion has also helped to create limited-edition packaging for Doritos® Flamin’ Hot® Nacho and for Cheetos® Crunchy Flamin’ Hot®. The apparel and limited-edition Doritos® and Cheetos® will be available while supplies last.
The last kick to Flamin’ Hot University is the scholarship fund; F.U. will be giving out scholarships to select seniors graduating from TSU. Money made from the sale of F.U. merchandise will support the scholarship fund in giving back to Megan Thee Stallion’s alma mater. F.U. hopes to be able to inspire students to face life with attitude and confidence as they continue to be unapologetically themselves.
