Baja Beach Fest made its way back for their annual 3-Day music event. Marking its 5th Anniversary Show, hits half a decade in celebration of Latin music & culture putting it front & center as the festival brought fans from across the globe in commemoration of the widely beloved genres in Latin music. This past weekend, Rosarito Beach, MX, was the “it” destination where the festival got underway in emphatic fashion with incredible performances and immaculate vibes from many of the best artists & most popular worldwide. The festival’s ethos of “Menos hate, mas perreo,” was in full effect as there was non-stop dancing, grooving and vibing to the lovely rhythmic beats.
The immaculate vibes of Baja Beach Fest continued all weekend long in Rosarito, MX where all in attendance came together to enjoy the many memorable performances. The 3-Day festival brought fans from across Latin America and other parts of the globe together to the sunny beaches of Baja California to celebrate all that the wonderful culture of Mexico had to offer. Latin music has become one of the biggest genres around and Frank151 is here for it; loving every minute of it. If you’ve never attended, Baja Beach Fest is a must so definitely add it to next year’s calendar and hope to see you there!
Baja Beach Fest completed it’s last day on Sunday with more of Latin music’s biggest acts, closing out on Day 3 with a “Special Sunday Set” from regional Mexican giants, Grupo Firme, as well as other performances from Don Omar, Tego Calderon (one of his final Mexican tour dates), Tokischa, Zion Y Lennox, and many more. BEST MOMENTS FROM DAY 1:
- Latin music icons Wisin Y Yandel played their final show ever on the Baja Beach Fest stage, lighting up the crowd with hits like “Rakata,” “El Telefono,” and “Sexy Moviento,” plus bangers from 2022’s La Última Misión.
- Multi-platinum producer Tainy dazzled the crowd from a special set in the middle of the festival perched atop the delay tower, a feat never seen before at Baja Beach Fest. He played highlights from his recent critically-acclaimed album, DATA, as well as other standout cuts from his impressive catalog.
- Dominican dembow specialist El Alfa lit up the stage with in his signature animated cadence, getting the crowd amped up and ready to carry the night through. He also shared a special moment with Colombian rapper Farina to perform their collaboration, “Benedico.”
- Other standout performances included Nicky Jam, Manuel Turizo, Gera MX, DJ Miriam, and more.
BEST MOMENTS FROM DAY 2:
- Puerto Rican icon Ozuna closed out the night by digging deep into his bag of hits to bring day two to an end. He also brought out his good friend Ferxxo, who performed right before him, for their signature collaboration, “Hey Mor.”
- Colombian star Feid had the crowd covered in his favorite colored green lighting as he blessed fans with Reggaeton hits like “Feliz Cumpleanos Ferxxo” and “LA INOCENTE.”
- Mexican-American starlet Becky G put on quite a show for the fans of Baja, fit with a full Mexican banda as she serenaded the crowd as day turned to night over the shores of Rosarito.
- Legendary Puerto Rican artist Ivy Queen, a.k.a. ‘La Diva,’ proved why she’s had staying power in this industry as she blessed fans with deep cuts from her nearly two decade long career.
- Fast rising rapper, Young Miko, had the crowd turned up with her slick bars, and even went down to the crowd after her performance to show some love to her fans in the front.
- Other standout performers included Ryan Castro, Alexis Y Fido, Gabito Ballesteros, and more.
