Brunch Electronik Brings the Party Back to LA
On January 18, 2025, Brunch Electronik, a Barcelona-based festival renowned for its fusion of electronic music and daytime festival culture, returns to Exposition Park in Los Angeles. This iteration promises a diverse lineup of electronic music pioneers and emerging talents.

Headlining the Brunch Electronik event is German techno and trance innovator Stephan Bodzin, celebrated for his emotionally resonant live sets and expert use of modular synthesis. Accompanying him is Dubfire, founder of SCI+TEC, whose minimalistic, dark techno sound has significantly influenced the genre. French artist Apache will infuse the event with his energetic, genre-blending style, while Los Angeles-based Julia Sandstorm will showcase her versatile and groove-centric DJ set.
Since its inception in 2013 as a Sunday afternoon gathering in Barcelona, it has grown into a globally recognized event, with editions held across Europe and Latin America. This event marks Brunch Electronik’s second appearance in Los Angeles, following a successful U.S. debut earlier in 2024 that included standout performances by Colyn, Will Clarke, Maya Jane Coles, and DJ Harvey.
Collaborating with Los Angeles underground collectives Minimal Effort and SBCLTR, Brunch Electronik further solidifies its presence on the West Coast. Minimal Effort, known for curating eclectic electronic music lineups in unique venues, and SBCLTR, recognized for its immersive event design and focus on community engagement, bring added depth to the festival experience.
Beyond the music, attendees can expect a multifaceted cultural experience including gourmet food trucks, a curated vendor village, striking art installations, and a welcoming atmosphere designed to foster community and creativity.
