To add to the large amount of brands and companies cutting ties with Diddy, Hulu has joined the club, cancelling a reality tv series following Diddy and his family, ‘Diddy+7,’ that was in the works.
Hulu is only the most recent in a slew of other companies and brands parting ways with the previous music and entertainment industry mogul. Since allegations of sexual violence have began hitting Diddy, his various ventures have been taking significant hits, including his stepping down from his Chairman position at Revolt and 18 brands leaving Empower Global.
It is clear that many companies and brands are separating themselves due to the extreme allegations that have surfaced, including trafficking and rape. While Hulu has not made an official comment, Diddy finally took to social media to proclaim his innocence.
He wrote to social media: “Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
It is clear that until the lawsuits are cleared up Diddy and his business ventures will continue to lose partnerships and support.
