Yesterday, Travis Scott took to Instagram to announce the epic launch event at the Pyramids of Giza for Utopia.
One of his initial posts was an image that said, “Utopia is wherever you are / Travis Scott / Live Stream Transmitting from Egypt / The Pyramids / July 28.” This image included no caption from the artist, however his next post was the official Live Nation event poster along with the caption: “UTOPIA LIVE AT THE PYRAMIDS TICKETS AND UTOPIA PACK ON TRAVISSCOTT.COM.”
The launch of Utopia is bound to be an epic event, due to the large amount of anticipation the album already has, but also the iconic location. The launch event will be an “unforgettable show that will immerse fans in the world of Utopia.” Travis Scott has kept the Utopia album fairly mysterious, stringing fans along waiting for it to finally drop. In a recent press release, Travis Scott’s team told reporters that Utopia will have “five individual artworks” that all have yet to be unveiled.
With fans still patiently awaiting the true release of Scott’s first album since his 2018 Astroworld, the Pyramids of Giza Utopia event is bound to be a success. The album still has no official release date, but it is available for pre-order along with other Utopia merchandise on Travis Scott’s website.
