The collaboration collection of thisisneverthat x New Balance 550s is finally almost here, and thisisneverthat has released teaser images of the new 550 trio.
Coming in with hot new color ways, the collab 550s come in lavender, green and brown. The major difference between the collab 550 and the original 550 shoe is the material of the shoe. Original 550 sneakers use leather and suede panels to create the main body of the shoe; however the thisisneverthat collab shoe is made of a canvas body. The shoes all feature a sturdy black sole, inspired by hiking and skateboarding shoes made in the 90’s.
The collab collection also of course sports both brand names, with a co-branded logo on the tongue, thisisneverthat’s logo on embroidered on the heel, and the New Balance N in cracked leather on the side of the shoe.
The collection will be available online beginning in the US on August 23rd. They will then become available online in Europe and China, as well as in-stores and online in Japan and Korea on August 24th.
