Capcom’s Street Fighter is stepping back into the ring, and this time it’s doing it loud, weird, and stacked with a cast that feels ripped straight from a dream blunt rotation circa 3am.
Set in 1993, the new Street Fighter film drops us into the era when arcades still ruled cities and beef was settled with fists, not tweets. Estranged warriors Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are dragged back into combat when the enigmatic Chun-Li (Callina Liang) pulls them into the next World Warrior Tournament—a no-mercy collision of global fighters where legacy, ego, and survival all hang in the balance. Beneath the sweat and spinning kicks is something darker: a conspiracy designed to force Ryu and Ken to turn on each other and confront the ghosts they’ve been running from. Lose the fight, lose your soul. Continue? Insert coin.

And then there’s the roster—less casting list, more beautiful chaos.
Jason Momoa hulks out as Blanka Joe. Roman Reigns steps fully into demon mode as Akuma. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson throws hands as Balrog. Eric André shows up as Don Sauvage, because of course he does. David Dastmalchian takes on the ultimate villain role as M. Bison, while Cody Rhodes salutes in as Guile. Australian MMA king Alexander Volkanovski also joins the madness, adding real-world violence to an already stacked fantasy.
The full fighter select screen reads like this:

Street Fighter is locked in for an October 16, 2026 release, and if this cast is any indication, it’s aiming to be less faithful adaptation and more full-contact cultural event. Expect fists, fireballs, and more chaos than a sticky arcade floor at 2am.
Game on.
PUSH START. Here’s a sneak peek of #StreetFighterMovie, hitting theaters everywhere October 16, 2026.
