This week, Vans and Supreme will release a new footwear capsule collection, inspired by the Skate Grosso Mid and the Era.
The collaboration will reinvent the Skate Grosso Mid style with new color ways of cream, pink and black. The shoes will sport premium suede toe boxes and overlays while the side panels remain the classic Vans canvas with a special twist of dollar bill graphics. Some styles feature the Vans solid stripe across the side panels of the shoes; many also feature monochromatic, solid black midsoles, giving the bottoms an entirely blacked out look. The capsule collection pieces will include the Supreme brand name on the back of the shoes as well as on the inside of the tongues. The brand name will be embroidered in Old English font on the back, and in its classic boxy font on the inside of the tongues.
The Era pieces of the collection are bold designs. These feature the dollar bill graphics printed all over the canvas shoes as opposed to pairing it with one of the color ways. Touches of olive green are included in the laces along with a white midsole to compliment the full design.
The collaboration capsule will be releasing in the US and Europe on June 1st in stores and online.
