To celebrate the 30th anniversary of his first studio album, Snoop Dogg and special guests will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl this June for Snoop Dogg & Friends: 30th Anniversary of Doggystyle & More and produced by Dr. Dre.
Originally released in November of 1993 through Death Row Records and Interscope, Doggystle was also originally produced by Dr. Dre. The album featured numerous other artists and debuted at No. 1, selling over 800,000 units in its first week. One of the singles from the album, “Gin and Juice,” got Snoop Dogg nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance at the Grammy’s in 1995.
Well renowned as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, Snoop Dogg & Friends is bound to be an incredible experience with lots of surprise appearances. All of the show’s performances will also be supported by the ReCollective Orchestra and their conductor Derrick Hodge.
Snoop Dogg & Friends: 30th Anniversary of Doggystyle & More and produced by Dr. Dre will be held at the Hollywood Bowl on June 27th & 28th of this summer. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 5th at 10:00 AM PST/ 1:00 EST.
