Rolling Loud has officially announced the lineup for 2024, with headliners including Nicki Minaj, Post Malone and Lil Uzi Vert; however there seems to be a bit of confusion, because Lil Uzi Vert’s says that they never agreed to the festival.
For the festival’s 5th year running, it will be held in Hollywood Park in Los Angeles, CA from March 15th through March 17th. The lineup is filled with hit artists and has fans looking forward to 2024.
The first day of the festival is set to see performances from YG & Tyga, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Tecca, Sexyy Red, Chino Pacas, and many more before getting to the headliner. Nicki Minaj is set to headline on Friday, March 15th and close out Rolling Loud’s first night of 2024. Saturday, March 16th will see performances from $UICIDEBOY$, Summer Walker, Big Sean, Larry June, Bones and more before Post Malone hits the stage to close out the evening. The final day of the festival, Sunday, March 17th will host Don Toliver, Bryson Tiller, Ski Mask the Slump God, Chief Keef, NLE Choppa, O3Greedo and many more.
The festival’s final day is where things begin to get shaky for Rolling Loud. The promotional image released with the lineup on it lists Lil Uzi Vert as their final headliner, set to close out the festival on Sunday the 15th. But Uzi took to their Instagram Story quickly after seeing the announcement to say: “I never said I was doing rolling loud don’t understand why my name is on here.”
Uzi’s confusion was added as text to the image of the 2024 Rolling Loud lineup with Uzi tagging Rolling Loud before posting to their story. Lil Uzi not wanting to commit to the festival could have something to do with their plans for early retirement. Last month Uzi Vert announced to his audience that ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ will be their last album; they promised fans that there would be one more tour in support of the album, but after that Uzi hopes to lead a “normal life.”
‘Luv Is Rage 3’ has no release date yet, so it is unclear whether or not Rolling Loud would actually interrupt Uzi’s plans for touring again. However, it seems clear that Uzi wants to try to slow down, so maybe that is the reason they did not agree to Rolling Loud. Rolling Loud still putting Uzi’s name on the lineup likely just comes down to a miscommunication.
Tickets for Rolling Loud will open for presale tomorrow, November 16th at 10AM PST. General sale tickets will begin this Friday, November 17th at 10AM PST. Fans can also RSVP for first access to ticket sales and a chance to win free tickets ahead of the sales here.
