Just about a year after his last album, Beautiful Mind, Rod Wave has announced his fifth studio album, Nostalgia, will be coming in less than a month.
The St. Petersburg local has been making big waves in the music industry for a few years now, helping to carve out a new genre of music called soul trap. In his previous albums, Rod Wave included quite a few features by other popular artists. Some included Jack Harlow, Polo G, Lil Durk, Kodak Black and more.
So far, Rod Wave has not given much information about Nostalgia, he simply took to Instagram
to share the album cover alongside the caption: “9/15 ……. Nostalgia the Album🦋 🤎 ” with no further details. The day after his release date announcement, Rod Wave also released a new single called “Call Your Friends.” It is unknown whether or not “Call Your Friends” is a part of the Nostalgia album.
Fans will just have to wait and find out in a few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for Rod Wave’s newest album Nostalgia, releasing on all platforms on Friday, September 15th.
