Rihanna is now right behind Drake as the artist with the second most Recording Industry Association of America certified singles, a title previously held by Eminem.
Rihanna is up to 166.5 million certifications after a large influx this spring, beating out Eminem’s record by half a million units. She now has 57 gold units, 44 platinum units, 34 multi-platinum units, and one diamond unit; “We Found Love,” Rihanna’s collaboration with Calvin Harris, was her first diamond-certified record. Her most recent album, Anti, also received a five-time platinum certification.
Eminem now trails Drake and Rihanna with his record of 166 million certifications. Eminem holds 72 gold, 40 platinum, 30 multi-platinum and 3 diamond certifications. Drake is still sitting at No. 1 Most RIAA Certified Artist with 184 million total certified units. Drake has 3 diamond units, like Eminem, along with 74 gold, 74 platinum, and 32 multi-platinum units.
