Although Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE World Tour has finally come to an end, fans will soon be able to live (or relive) the experience in theaters with a documentary-style movie following Queen B as she creates the Renaissance album and tour.
Beyoncé and her team are partnering with AMC Theaters to add to the RENAISSANCE World Tour’s incredible history. The tour itself grossed nearly $560 million from ticket sales after spending nearly 6 months stopping in 12 countries. If insider reports are correct, Beyoncé’s film deal is similar to that of Taylor Swift’s deal for her ERAS tour film – meaning that Beyoncé could make over 50% of the worldwide grosses.
The film is set to follow Beyoncé and give peeks into her creation of the RENAISSANCE album. It will allegedly follow Queen Bey on tour, giving special footage from two of her latest shows in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
Neither Beyoncé nor AMC Theaters have confirmed or denied the partnership and creation of the film, yet. The members of the Beyhive will have to keep their eyes peeled for the RENAISSANCE film, potentially coming this winter, on December 1st.
