Post Malone is set to kick of the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, with Burna Boy and Tems delivering the infamous event’s first Afro beats set.
On Wednesday, February 15, the NBA took to their Instagram to announce the All-Star performers line up- which also included American singer-songwriter Jewel and Canadian singer-songwriter Jully Black.
Ahead of the upcoming game, Posty is set to perform a medley of his most popular hits as Lebron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo take part in the first ever arena-hosted All-Star draft.
For the first time in NBA history, the two captains will select their team live on air during a 30-minute pregame show.
The halftime show, however, will be dedicated to Afro beats, with a fellow Nigerian artist, Rema, joining Burna Boy and Tems in their performance.
In addition to these artists and performances, the NBA All-Star Weekend will comprise many other music centric events, including the Ruffles Celebrity Game. Some artists expected to take part in these activities are 21 Savage, Cordae, and Janelle Monae.
