This Tuesday, Lil Yachty announced the dates for his global ‘The Field Trip Tour,’ starting in North America this September before stopping throughout Europe.
Lil Yachty released his most recent album, Let’s Start Here, in January of this year. Let’s Start Here was extremely well received by fans, despite it being a much different sound than people are used to from Lil Yachty. The artist took to a more psychedelic rock sound in his latest album, as opposed to the hip-hop/rap that his fans are accustomed to.
After the excitement of hearing his new sound, fans will now be able to see him on tour this fall after he completes his festival performances over the summer, including Lollapalooza and Wireless Festival. The global, 39-stop tour will start in Washington, D.C. on September 21st, and travel across North America, ending in Detroit on November 5th before heading over the pond to Europe. The European part of the tour kicks off in Oslo on November 22nd and travels throughout Europe, ending in Vienna on December 17th for the final show of the tour.
The tour will likely feature some special guests, although no names have been announced yet. Lil Yachty posted all the tour dates to Instagram this Tuesday, also announcing that tickets were open for presale that day. Tickets are available through The Field Trip Tour website with presales still going on. The general sale for tickets to The Field Trip Tour begin on Friday, May 12th at 10:00 AM local time in North America and 12:00 PM local time in Europe.
