Yesterday Jorja Smith took to Instagram to announce her second album, ‘Falling or Flying,’ will be released in September of this year.
Since last month, the British singer has been teasing fans about the possibility of another album coming. Yesterday she announced the official release date and title of her sophomore album on Instagram saying “falling or flying, my second album! Out 29th September 2023. I can’t believe it tbh…”
‘Falling or Flying’ will tell the story of Jorja Smith’s evolution, showcasing her talents through a combination of new genres including Jazz, Soul, R&B and Funky House. As her first full-length album since her debut studio album was released in 2018, her new album takes fans through the last 5 years of her life by covering topics of friendships, breakups, and self-healing.
‘Falling or Flying’ will be released to all streaming platforms on September 29th of this year. In honor of the album, Jorja Smith will be performing multiple live shows throughout the UK. The concerts will take place from September 28th through October 9th, with Smith performing in Kingston, Nottingham, London, and Bristol.
