Jamie Foxx, who has been hospitalized since his shocking medical emergency last month, took to Instagram to make his first public statement thanking family, friends, and fans for “all the love.”
Last month, Foxx’s daughter Corrine announced his hospitalization due to a “medical complication,” but no more information on the actual issue was released. About a week after he was admitted to the hospital in Atlanta, family members told reporters that Foxx was “awake and alert.”
Foxx was in Atlanta filming new Netflix movie, Back in Action, when the medical incident occurred. He was rushed off the set and to the hospital in Atlanta where he has been recovering since.
There are rumors that Foxx suffered a heart attack, but no more official information on Foxx’s medical issue has been released. Foxx posted a blank screen with the words “Appreciate all the love!! Feeling blessed” to his Instagram account this Wednesday to show his appreciation for his friends, family, and fans during these hard times. We can only hope this is a step towards Foxx being released from the hospital and making his way to a full recovery.
