Continuing the Landmark x Bronx Brewery Artists Series at Hudson Yards, we proudly bring you Can I Kick It, world-renowned artist Shiro’s two-month-long Solo Exhibit this April. Kicking off Thursday, April 25th, the show features a series of Shiro’s signature works that explore classic New York urban history through the lens of an artist who reveres Hip Hop culture. Showcasing her distinctive fusion of Japanese aesthetics and old-school New York graffiti art, Shiro highlights and honors the different Hip Hop elements in this inspired and fun exhibit.
Since 2011, The Bronx Brewery has positioned itself as a pillar of Community, Creativity, and Inclusivity through its beer and spaces. With successful locations in the South Bronx and East Village, they launched the newest Hudson Yards location in late 2022 and brought to it the same enthusiasm for art and the local community.
Curated by Kate Storch, the Opening Night will include music by the legendary Large Professor, live painting, and more. A Limited Edition Shiro x Bronx Brewery IPA will be available throughout the exhibit run to accompany this impressive collection of art. Stay tuned for news on events throughout the exhibit.
