Born x Raised X Nike SB

This summer, Born x Raised will join forces with Nike SB to create a special pair of SB Dunk Lows and an apparel capsule. Nike SB has already been quite busy this year with collaboration collections with Jarritos, Jordan Brand, and Run the Jewels. Now they will be adding another powerful collaboration to their collection.

So far, images of some of the apparel from the collection have been released as an early teaser to customers. These images confirm that the collection will include a crewneck sweatshirt, available in two bold colors from the palette. The crewnecks will be fleece-lined and co- branded on the left side of the chest as well as on the back. The sweatshirts come in a pink color with blue branding, or in blue with pink branding.

The branding shown on the pieces is a combined brand mark for Nike SB and Born x Raised. Born x Raised will appear in its classic Old English font, adorned with the Nike swoosh in the middle. For the pink sweatshirt, the Born x Raised logo is in blue while the Nike swoosh is white; for the blue sweatshirt, the Born x Raised logo is white and the Nike swoosh is pink.

There has also been confirmation of a graphic t-shirt being included in the capsule collection. No photos of this piece have been released yet, but it is said to have the phrase “On the Turf” brandished on it. However, there have been photos released of the special pair of SB Dunk Lows included in the collection.

The capsule collection’s adaptation of the classic Nike sneakers includes the bright blue color as seen on the apparel, alongside pink embroidered accents, like the phrase “One Block At A Time” found across the toes of the shoes as well as on the outside of each tongue. The swoosh going across the body of the shoe is a silver iridescent color, giving the sneakers an extra pop. The phrase “On the Turf” is also featured on the shoes inside of each tongue as well as on the heel of each shoe. The sneakers are also adorned with another collaborative logo on the heel, the front of the tongues, the treading, and even the insoles.

There is speculation that the collection could release before the end of the summer. However, there has been no confirmation of a release date for the Born x Raised X Nike SB capsule collection yet.
