Best known for his role in hit TV show Euphoria, actor Angus Cloud passed away yesterday in his family’s home in Oakland, California, at the devastatingly young age of 25.
The young actor was in the midst of grieving his father, who passed away about a week prior. Cloud’s family had spoken out telling news sources that Angus and his father were incredibly close, making the loss an “immense struggle” for him. The exact cause of death has yet to be released to the public. His family made a statement confirming Cloud’s passing yesterday.
The statement reads:
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence. We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
Cloud lived his life to the fullest in his 25 years. Cloud grew up in the Oakland area and even attended the Scott of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts with Zendaya. Before he became Fezco O’Neill in Euphoria, he played small roles in movies, including North Hollywood and The Line. He also appeared in some music videos for artists like Juice WRLD, Karol and Becky G.
Rest in peace to an impactful artist, friend, brother and son.
