“Transition” is a new short ski film by Josh Absenger, capturing the change of the seasons. The film depicts the high contrast in the landscapes – while the vegetation in the valley is already flourishing, it’s still winter up there in the mountains.
In May the days are much longer, but the window to catch good spring snow is pretty short. Josh and the crew will not waste an opportunity though, squeezing every last drop out of the season. “I always try to extend the winter season for as long as possible, especially after a pretty poor winter in terms of snow: I love going for one more run up the valley.
