“I’m very excited to be returning to LA with Framework and Goldenvoice, especially for a show in such a distinctive setting. Hollywood Boulevard, one of the most iconic streets in the world, is perfect for a block party. It’s going to be a special experience, supporting a great cause” – Michael Bibi

Framework, one of the world’s leading independent purveyors of underground music experiences, has announced that ABRACADABRA-label boss BLOND:ISH will join tech-house maestro Michael Bibi for his upcoming Hollywood Boulevard takeover. A co-production with Goldenvoice, ‘Michael Bibi on Hollywood BLVD’ is set to take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation Fund.

The historic event will shut down Hollywood Boulevard between Vine Street and Cahuenga Boulevard, with a stage surrounded by iconic landmarks such as the Hollywood Sign, the legendary Capital Records building, and the Pantages Theater – a glamorous, storied backdrop that promises to uphold Framework’s sparkling legacy of producing culture-defining events in Los Angeles.
The upcoming ‘Michael Bibi on Hollywood BLVD’ represents a major milestone in the long-standing relationship between Framework and the Solid Grooves-label head. Framework – known for finding and championing up-and-coming talent – produced Michael Bibi’s debut Los Angeles show at The Sunset Room in 2019, and has since hosted him at Sound Nightclub for 7 Days Of Framework At SoundArt Of The Wild at Wynn Las VegasThe Vermont Hollywood, and, in partnership with Goldenvoice, at the debut Quasar Stage at Coachella 2024.

Now, Framework will present Michael Bibi on one of the globe’s most iconic, recognizable streets – a testament to the London-native’s international dance music stardom. But this event is more than just a career milestone; it also marks an incredible comeback. After being diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma in 2023, the producer entered a period of profound personal reflection. Now in remission, Michael Bibi has spent the past two years returning to the stage with renewed purpose – a journey that continues with Framework and Goldenvoice for one of the most defining Los Angeles performances of his career.

Michael Bibi on Hollywood BLVD’ isn’t the first time Framework has taken over the star-studded street. In 2023, the underground dance music brand made history by hosting Fisher and Chris Lake’s 12,000 person “Under Construction” bonanza – the first high-volume event permitted to a promoter on Hollywood Boulevard since 2000. The event’s overwhelming success prompted the Los Angeles board to invite Framework back to host more events there, cementing the company’s status as a stalwart of LA culture after years of cultivating a trusted reputation with the city.

Framework’Hollywood Boulevard takeovers are just one example of how the company has sought to reshape Los Angeles nightlife. In addition to owning LA’s premier nightlife havens Sound Nightclub and The SpotlightFramework has spent the past decade establishing itself as curators of innovative dance music experiences in non-traditional locations. In 2024 alone, Framework produced inaugural, sold-out events at the historic Sears Building (with Dom Dolla), the legendary film production house Red Studios (with Duke Dumont and Rampa), and Downtown LA’s architectural landmark League of Shadows Pavillion at SCI-Arc, where they hosted Maceo Plex’s first LA performance in five years. The company also brought Solomun to Exposition ParkFrancis Mercier to Chinatown’s lantern-flanked Gin Ling Way, and BLOND:ISH to California Plaza in DTLA – just to name a few highlights from a year of unforgettable events.

A portion of the proceeds from ‘Michael Bibi on Hollywood BLVD’ will support the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, marking yet another way Framework is using its platform to give back to the city in the wake of the devastating wildfires. Since the start of the year, Framework has hosted a series of charity events featuring world-class artists like Duke DumontZhu, and Sosa, raising over $125,000 for the LAFD.
