Louis Vuitton Signs Tyshawn Jones as “Friend Of The House”

Louis Vuitton just made it official—Tyshawn Jones is now a “Friend of the House.” Not exactly shocking, considering Tyshawn remains one of the most marketable (and straight-up talented) skaters in the game. With Pharrell at the helm of LV’s men’s division, it was only a matter of time before something like this went down. Skateboarding and high fashion have been getting cozy for years, and this move just cements it further.

LV took to IG with three posts featuring Tyshawn, but the standout? A shot of him casually flexing that otherworldly pop over LV’s signature trunks. The caption read:

“Tyshawn Jones for Louis Vuitton. The House and @pharrell are pleased to welcome the American skateboarder and the newest Friend of the House, perpetuating a celebration of unique talents in the LVERS community.”

If that wasn’t enough, the second IG post—featuring a skate shot—had OG legend Chad Muska dropping a perfect two-word comment: “Pop the trunk.” LV’s follow-up caption kept it clean:

“Tyshawn Jones for Louis Vuitton. Embodying the House’s values of excellence, creativity, and craft, the Friend of the House joins @pharrell in an ever-evolving sartorial journey.”

This is yet another step in LV’s ongoing flirtation with skate culture. If you remember, when Virgil Abloh (RIP) was running the show, he brought Lucien Clarke into the fold and even gave him LV’s first-ever pro model skate shoe. Pharrell’s era is picking up where that left off—only now, it’s got Tyshawn’s stamp on it.

One thing’s for sure: the lines between luxury fashion and skateboarding aren’t just blurring anymore—they’re fully intertwined. And Tyshawn? He’s built for this.
