Images of the highly-anticipated JJJJound x Adidas Samba collaboration have been released, showing off the new “Off-White/Core Black/Gum” pair of shoes that will allegedly be available this coming March.
Last November when the JJJJound and Adidas collaboration was announced, the first two styles of Sambas were released. The classic black/white/gum color way, made with leather, and the tan/brown/gum color way, made with a shaggy suede. The first two color ways to be announced sport the classic Adidas three stripes on the sides of the shoes as well as the JJJJound logo on the heel and inner sole.
The newest pair of the collection fits right in line with the other two, with the classic gum midsole and outsole and the mid-foot Adidas stripe logo. However, the third pair sports an extra JJJJound logo in gold foil right alongside the Adidas three stripes instead of on the heel. The shoe is covered in an “off white” leather with black leather accents and a grey suede toe cap.
Reportedly hitting the shelves in March of 2024, the JJJJound x Adidas Samba collection could go for up to $250 per pair. With the classic Adidas Sambas selling for $100, this is a 2.5x increase for the collaboration collection. JJJJound is known for not inflating prices among their collaboration collections, which leads many to believe that this estimated price will drop to likely just above the typical Samba price.
