
Erik Ellington and the Deathwish/Baker Boys crew are usually credited with spotting Jamie Foy for Deathwish. Foy was first getting support on “flow,” then proved himself with heavy street footage and fearless rail skating. Deathwish officially brought him on as an amateur, and he quickly became one of the brand’s biggest names. By 2017, Foy had turned pro for Deathwish and won Thrasher’s Skater of the Year.
