The Atlanta Falcons have prepared an extra special event for attendees of next Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, as they will bring together more than 60 Atlanta hip-hop artists to perform the perfect pregame show to honor the 50th anniversary of hip hop.
The Falcons are well-known for being ranked at No. 1 in the NFL’s Voice of the Fan in 2022 for game day satisfaction, and this spectacular pregame show continues the trend of satisfying fans. The show is set to include special visual effects for a 360 experience for all attendees. The fan shops at Mercedes-Benz Stadium will also have limited-edition merchandise available on game day to compliment the hip-hop / football crossover event.
SVP of Fan and Associate Experience at AMB Sports and Entertainment, Tameka Rish, spoke about the event and said: “We are extremely excited to celebrate this milestone and invite fans and the entire Atlanta community to join us. The hip-hop community and the Atlanta Falcons have forged a close relationships since the early nineties, influenced by the drafting of Deion Sanders. Artists such as Jermaine Dupri, Andre 3000, Big Boi, Ludacris and T.I. rose to prominence during the era of Michael Vick’s top-selling number 7 jersey across all sports.”
She continued: “This is a relationship that has not only endured but flourished, reflecting Atlanta’s continued significance in the hip-hop world. Our ongoing collaboration with artists like Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Quavo, Pastor Troy and the broader hip-hop community remains a top priority, as it embodies our profound dedication to the culture of Atlanta and our commitment to unity.”
Top names in hip-hop including Jermaine Dupri, Future, Ludacris, T.I., Jeezy, Quavo, 21 Savage and many more will grace the stage of Mercedes-Benz Stadium this upcoming Sunday. The Falcons are telling attendees to plan for an early arrival to the stadium, as the pregame show is set to begin at 12:30 PM, just 30 minutes before kickoff. It is unclear exactly how the show will be executed, with over 60 artists and just about 30 minutes of performance time, it will certainly be an exciting experience.
