The admired Studio Ghibli is giving us a break by finally releasing their animations on all major streaming platforms for purchase. Most people know them from their academy award winner ‘Spirited Away’ which takes us on a mystical adventure helping us escape reality for a bit.
Esteemed films in their catalog includes, Castle in the Sky, The Cat Returns, From Up on Poppy Hill, Kiki’s Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, My Neighbors the Yamadas, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Ocean Waves, Only Yesterday, Pom Poko, Ponyo, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, The Secret World of Arrietty, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, Tales From Earthsea, and Whisper of the Heart.
The only film that won’t be included is The Wind Rises.
All films will be available on iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Google Play and streamable in the United States through HBO Max starting the third quarter of 2020.
