As fans have thirsting for nearly three years to get new music from Schoolboy Q and the day is finally here. After teasing fans on Instagram he blessed us with his new track “Numb Numb Juice”
The track was produced by TDE affiliated members Hykeem Carter, DJ Fu and Nez & Rio. “Numb Numb Juice” has Q rapping in signature style over a heavy beat accustomed by a vigorous flow and hard bars.
Could this possibly be the first single off his upcoming album? Groovy Q spoke on his albums recent delay due to the death of Mac Miller by stating, “You know I drop albums every two years, right? But listen, with my nigga gone right now, I just don’t feel right putting out an album.” Last year he also told a crowd at his show, “As y’all can tell, I’m not my real self right now. I shouldn’t even be here right now. But like I said, my nigga Mac would not want me to be in the house sad. He would clown me for some weird shit. I’m here today because it’s no way he would allow me to sit the house and be a little bitch. I’m not gonna be a little bitch.”
We hope the best for Q and hope he is back in the right place as we all look forward to him putting out his album.
