The 2023 Global Citizen Festival will return to New York City’s Great Lawn on September 24 with a star-studded lineup of performers from the worlds of rock, hip-hop, and pop.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lauryn Hill will headline the festival, which is known for its focus on raising awareness of global issues such as poverty, climate change, and inequality. Other performers on the lineup include Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion, pop crooner Conan Gray, and K-pop band Stray Kids.
The festival will also feature appearances by world leaders, business executives, and celebrities who are committed to making a difference in the world.
“We are excited to bring the Global Citizen Festival back to New York City this year,” said Hugh Evans, CEO of Global Citizen. “This is a chance for us to unite as a global community and take action on the issues that matter most.”
The Global Citizen Festival is free to attend, but attendees must register for free tickets. Tickets will be available on the Global Citizen website starting on July 15.
The festival is expected to draw over 60,000 people to Central Park. It will be broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo.
