Nicki Minaj has been teasing her fans with the idea of her new album and a tour coming later this year, but yesterday she finally gave a date to look forward to.
Minaj took to social media yesterday and tweeted “10/20/23 The Album💿 🎀 ” with no other information or official title. The album has been expected to be released this fall, so now fans have confirmation and a solid date to anticipate Minaj’s first new album in 5 years.
Although fans have been long-awaiting this album, we know that Minaj has been keeping herself busy. Last month it was revealed that she is part of the soundtrack for ‘Barbie.’ Over the last few months, Nicki Minaj has also been dropping new tracks and collaborations, including “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” “Princess Diana” with Ice Spice, “Alone” with Kim Petras, and even “Pound Town 2” remix with Sexxy Red.
Last month when teasing a tour on her Instagram account, Minaj asked fans, “Do you want me to perform this song on the NM5 TOUR? Do you want a YMCMB STADIUM TOUR after that? I rlly get to rap with the best to ever do it. And still learning from them behind the scenes every day. Yikes.” That video also included Drake and Lil Wayne, only stirring the pot of excitement even more. With her latest chart topper, “Super Freaky Girl,” we can only assume that we will experience Nicki Minaj on top of her game this October – specifically October 20th, that is.
