Yesterday Nas took to social media to announce the official release date of his highly anticipated album with Hit-Boy, Magic 2.
The album is a sequel to his 2021 album, Magic, and serves as his fifth full-length release in the last three years. Nas has not slowed down for a few years now, first with King’s Disease in 2020, then Magic in 2021, then King’s Disease II in 2022, and now Magic 2 in 2023.
Nas made a post on Instagram to announce the release date of the new album. His post featured the album artwork with the simple, straight-to-the-point caption of “7.21.” No additional information about the album has been released yet, although fans won’t have to wait long before they can hear the album for themselves.
No tracklist or list of featured artists have been announced; however it seems as if 50 Cent will be featured somewhere in the project. 50 Cent also posted the album artwork to his Instagram account yesterday, with a little more of a caption than Nas gave away. 50 wrote “Yal Ian’t herd me in a minute, @nas felt like it was time so it’s done. Check us out Friday 7.21 MAGIC 2.”
Magic 2 is dropping this Friday, July 21st and will be available to stream on all platforms.
