Mac Miller’s Swimming Will Be an Audiovisual Experience

The estate of Mac Miller took to social media yesterday to announce a special audiovisual experience created from Mac’s album, Swimming.

The experience has been put together by multiple artists who worked with Mac Miller in the past, including Greg Koller who worked on Circles, and Jon Brion who worked on both Swimming and Circles. Both Koller and Brion mixed the presentation, using Dolby Atmos, while Brian Lucey mastered it. The visuals were created by Eric Tilford and Anthony Gaddis.

The audiovisual experience of Swimming is set to take place tomorrow, August 3rd, in Los Angeles. The image that Mac Miller’s estate posted along with the announcement does not give fans much insight as to what to expect from the experience. When it was released, Swimming debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and won Mac a posthumous GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Album. With Swimming being Mac’s final album, we can hope that the experience stays true to his final work.

The experience has limited seating, those attending had to RSVP on Mac Miller’s website. It is a first-come first-served policy, as of today, all seats are filled.
