Earlier this week beloved actor Jamie Foxx was rushed to the hospital for a “medical emergency” according to his daughter, Corrine Foxx. Although there is not much detail on what exactly Foxx’s medical emergency was, it clearly gave the family quite a scare. Many of Foxx’s family members came to visit him in the hospital as soon as they heard, even those that were not in town at the time.
Foxx was working on “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta and was taken to the hospital there the morning of the 11th. There were no signs of a medical problem occurring, Foxx has been working with his daughter on the show “Beat Shazam” hosting and executive producing and was even recently seen enjoying himself on a yacht last week.
Corinne Foxx made a statement yesterday on social media letting fans know that “luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.” Family representatives say that Foxx is communicating and would appreciate privacy while he recovers.
