Yesterday Gunna took to social media to announce his newest project, ‘A Gift & A Curse.’
His post on Instagram included the album cover artwork with the caption, “a Gift & a Curse from Me To You ! 🅿 Day !” The post was short, sweet, and to the point, giving away no extra details to fans on the edge of their seats. There is no information as to the track list or whether or not we will see any guest features.
Since being released from prison in December of 2022, Gunna has only released his latest single, “bread & butter.” The song gave insight into his time inside and allowed him to address the allegations of snitching for his plea deal. Other artists were previously claiming that Gunna had snitched & sharing their opinions publicly; but his lawyer, Steve Sadow, specifically stated that “Gunna did not snitch to get out of jail.” He went further to say that Gunna “has said nothing and is not cooperating. His plea statement cannot be used in court against any other defendant. So please stop spreading lies!”
With no insight into even the titles of any of the songs on ‘A Gift & A Curse,’ we will have to wait and see if Gunna continues to address any of these issues. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait much longer to hear the album.
‘A Gift & A Curse’ will release tomorrow, June 16th.
