Don’t Tell Netflix: Busta Rhymes Drops ‘Blockbusta’

For the first time since 2020, Busta Rhymes is back with a new album, ‘Blockbusta,’ featuring numerous collaborations with artists from the younger generation.

Busta Rhymes is typically known for collaborating with other classic artists from the rap genre, like Lil Wayne, Dr. Dre, Chris Brown, Redman and more. ‘Blockbusta’ includes features from 21 different artists, more than half of which have never collaborated with Busta before.

Quavo, BIA, Young Thug, Blxst, Yung Bleu, Coi Leray, DaBaby, Blackway, Kodak Black and more are included with their first collaborations with the iconic Busta Rhymes. Other artists on the album include Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown, T-Pain, and even Busta Rhymes’ son Trillian, all of whom have collaborated with him at one point or another in the past.

The last full-length album that Busta released was ‘Extinction Level Event 2’ in 2020, but in 2022 he released a short five-track EP, ‘The Fuse Is Lit.’ Since this short compilation of works, including collaborative efforts from Swizz Beatz, Big Daddy Kane, Conway the Machine and more, Busta Rhymes fans have been sitting and waiting for more new material.

‘Blockbusta,’ executively produced by Busta himself alongside Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams and Timbaland, has brought Busta Rhymes fans all they could ask for. With 19 new songs and just over an hour of run time, ‘Blockbusta’ is out now and available to stream on all platforms.
